In this post we would like to showcase a
fabulous “1,5 room apartment” which brings tribute to Scandinavian
design. This highly functional crib stretches over a surface of only 42
square meters, yet it does not seem to lack many things. The living room
is airy and bright with windows looking out onto the quiet
neighborhood. During the last renovation, the living room and kitchen
were united, which contributes to an overall feeling of space. A rustic
brick wall acts as a “decorative” border between the two rooms and
ensures a high level of originality. The walls are painted in a white
hue that provides a neutral base for decorating. Beautiful color
contrasts are achieved by the gray sofa and flooring. To the left of the
hall and directly adjacent to the living room, an extremely convenient
and comfortable sleeping space can be observed. Two of the walls are
painted in white, while the third is a beautifully patterned wallpaper
in pleasant tones. This special alcove is greatly appreciated in a crib
of this type, giving the feeling of a perfectly planned small
apartment.- via freshome

Incredible Space Maximization in a Small Studio Apartment
You’ve seen a lot of ingenious ideas on how to decorate small studio apartments on Freshome. Here is another tiny apartment that manages to maximize space and create a cozy living environment as well. The East Village Studio Apartment comes from JPDA Architects,
stretches over an area of 46 square meters (500 square feet) and was
built as a little “nest” for the owners who also work here. It has all
the utilities a common looking contemporary home has and dare we say a
lot more. This original crib has storage space and shelves in the most
unusual and unexpected places, reducing clutter and contributing to a
clean and fresh interior design. The wood gives this home its warmth
which is “intensified” by the friendly vegetation pots spread around the
open studio. -via freshome

A Fall Wedding at Blue Lake Ranch
It’s
just starting to feel like fall here in Atlanta, so I can’t think of a
better way to kick off the week than with this beautiful, fall wedding
all the way from Blue Lake Ranch in Durango, Colorado. Just by looking
at the photos, you can tell this couple is so sweet and have such a
tender love. As the photographer said, “Chase and Amy’s ceremony was so
genuine, and their love for each other is so apparent that we even
teared up a little at their ceremony! Nothing in the world photographs
so beautifully than a truly happy face.” And how about the bride’s
breathtaking lace back dress? The delicate lace is so intricate and
personal and filled with the most beautiful details. Be sure to visit
our real weddings gallery for more images from this delicate lace outdoor wedding.
